Louisville, KY – May 8, 2014 – When a Louisville woman found out her car was about to get repossessed she decided she wasn’t going to let it happen. How she avoided it, landed her behind bars.
Kentucky State Probation and Parole officers arrested Laneshia Quinett Wiley on May 7. The arrest warrant alleges that on April 3, when Wiley was shown repossession papers for her car, she pulled out of a parking space at a high rate of speed and struck one of the repossession agents.
Wiley fled, cut through traffic and sped away. Wiley is charged with wanton endangerment.
The stricken repossession agent suffered undisclosed back injuries.
