Middletown, OH – 14 August 2018 – A Middletown woman was charged with assault after she allegedly injured a tow truck driver who was repossessing her car last month in Middletown.
Johnnetta McGuire, 39, was charged after she allegedly jumped into her 2006 Hyundai Sonata that was being repossessed and she put it in reverse while it was being loaded on the tow truck, according to the police report.
When she backed up the car, the tow truck driver’s shoulder was injured by a strap, the report read.
McGuire allegedly backed through a neighbor’s driveway on Ellen Drive, then fled the area. Her husband called her and she returned with the car.
Her arraignment is scheduled for Wednesday in Middletown Municipal Court.
