Broken Arrow, OK – 27 October 2017 – Broken Arrow police arrested a woman accused of stealing her own repossessed car.
Officials said someone close to vehicle owner Christy Nava saw her driving her vehicle on Wednesday.
The person reportedly called police, who caught up with Nava after seeing the vehicle traveling at 70 mph down a center turn lane.
Police said a small child was in the back seat of the vehicle at the time.
Nava was arrested on accusations of possession of a stolen vehicle, driving under suspension, no insurance, child endangerment and reckless driving.
Editor Note: I’m really curious where it was stored that would be so easy for her to steal it back from?
