Youngstown, OH – September 29, 2022 – Gunfire rattled the southside Youngstown neighborhood on Thursday morning. But no one was more rattled than the unfortunate repossession agent it was intended for.
Youngstown police report that at approximately 10:00am on Plum Street, an unnamed repossessor was attempting to recover a vehicle when shots were fired.
The agent was uninjured. But when police arrived, the occupants of the house all came outside and no one had a gun in their hand (What a shock).
Failing to obtain the homeowners permission, officers searched the house and found several semi-automatic rifles according to Lt. Mohammad Awad of the Detective Bureau.
It is unknown if any of the weapons were seized or if the recovery agent’s truck was damaged in the incident and police are reportedly continuing with their investigation.
