Florence County, SC – January 13, 2025 – Threatening a borrower with a gun and trying to run him down is generally frowned upon. Based on the allegations of the police, a Timmonsville repo man, he’s learning that the hard way.
The drama occurred on December 22nd when 25-year-old Ryder Leland Williams, a repossession agent for an unnamed company, arrived at a residence to repossess a car on Kingston Drive. According to police, it was then that the agent encountered the borrower.

On Sunday January 12th, he was taken into custody. He has been charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, pointing and presenting a firearm, and criminal conspiracy.
The Florence County Sheriff’s Department is still investigating the incident.
Williams is being held at the Florence County Detention Center under no bond.
