“If you don’t drop the car, I’m going to pop your ***,”
Memphis, TN – May 22, 2025 – It was just after 6pm in a suburban south Memphis neighborhood on Wednesday evening when a Repossessor found himself looking down the barrel of a gun. Five shots were fired, but he got away. But not without getting hit.
Memphis Police report that it was soon after 6pm that they were called to the 2300 block of Warren Street to respond to a shooting. Soon after arriving, they found an injured repossession agent.
According to the unnamed agent’s report, he was in the process of loading a 2007 Lexus onto his truck when an unknown man charged out the door of a house and toward him. Raising the gun at him, he is reported to have stated ““If you don’t drop the car, I’m going to pop your ***,”.
Not reported is the location of the agent when the man came out, but the Repossessor put his truck in drive and fled. But not before the man fired five shots at him with one hitting him.
Fortunately, his calf was only grazed and he was not seriously injured.
The unnamed suspect then is reported to have jumped a fence and ran away. As of the filing of the police report, the suspect had still not been located.
