Jackson, MS – March 21, 2013 – A Jackson woman is behind bars charged with shooting a Repo Man who was attempting the repossession of her truck from her backyard. The family claims it was the Repo Men who shot first.
Ashley Bright, 31, has been charged with aggravated assault after allegedly walking out of her house firing a weapon at an unnamed Repo Man who was attempting the repossession of an older model Chevy truck from a backyard at the intersection of Terry Road and Raymond Road on Wednesday.
Bright’s family claims it was the two Repo Men who had broken down her fence in the attempt to
leave and that they were the ones that fired first in their attempt to flee the scene.
The unidentified Repo Man was shot in the shoulder and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
