IND Repo Man Shot
Mishawaka, IN – July 15, 2024 – Early Monday morning, police responded to a call for help at a gas station at the corner of Main Street and Mishawaka Avenue. Upon arriving, they found a repossessor suffering from a gunshot received during a repossession attempt on a jeep.
On Monday at about 2:26 a.m., the Mishawaka Police Department Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Main Street and Mishawaka Avenue following a report of a gunshot victim. Upon arrival, they found a 38-year-old male shot in the hand.
From the news video, they truck bares the name of the company as BSY Enterprises, a two and repossession company headquartered in Dowagiac, MI. The name of the agent was, as usual, not named.
The repossessor informed officers that he had been shot attempting the repossession of a Jeep from the possible owner. The injured agent received treatment at the hospital according to police.
The Mishawaka Police located and questioned a 35-year-old suspect. He was taken into custody and awaits charges from the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s office.
