Oklahoma Joins the Wave of New State Associations

It has only been two weeks since we met and came to the decision to launch our bold new venture. But in this meeting, attended by several repossession agency owners in the great state of Oklahoma, we came to the unanimous and enthusiastic agreement to form the Oklahoma Association of Professional Repossessors (OAPR).

During our first meeting, we set forth the goals of our new state association and agreed on the following;

Being the client educators in repossession compliance and insurance.
Better helping lenders understand the requirements of our job.
Working to achieve professional compensation for our work.

We also agreed unanimously that we support the Alliance of Illinois Repossessors in their stance on client storage. We look forward to our first meeting as an association in February where we will be assigning members of our group to our newly formed board of directors.

Although we are still in our infancy and our website is still under development, we are excited to be joining our colleagues in our sister state associations. We are actively seeking new members from across the state and strongly encourage you to reach out to us. Whether you are skeptical of our cause or simply feel you are doing well enough without us, please contact me so that we can at least have this discussion.

Joining our association costs very little, but united, we can accomplish so much more than any of us can alone.

This association was formed with the support of the other state associations, the American Recovery Association and the Allied Finance Adjusters. In kind, we pledge to support them as well as all of our fellow agency owners across the state of Oklahoma and across the nation as we strive for professionalism, compliance, compensation and unity.
