Bryan, TX – June 6, 2022 – Friday night is a family night for some. And for one Bryan, Texas family, they chose to spend attacking a repossession agent. In the aftermath, two men found themselves as guests of the county and a repossession agent found himself injured.
Last Friday night, Brazos County sheriff’s deputies arrived at a residence in response to a call on a disturbance regarding a repossession attempt.
Once deputies took control of the situation, they adjuster reported to officers that in his attempt to repossess a vehicle, about six family members descended on his truck attempting to stop him from repossessing it.
In the process, a window in his truck was shattered when one of the men in the family shattered it with a rock which sent a shattered piece of glass in his eye.
Interviewing the family, two of the men admitted to having thrown it claiming that the car was being repossessed illegally.
Taken into custody were 36-year-old Jayro Flores-Maradiaga of Bryan and 17-year-old Jesan Armando of Marquez. Both bailed out on $3,000 bond each.
