Repo Man KO’s Borrower After Allegedly Being Punched in the Head and Hit with a Car

Rancho Cucamonga, CA – 17 July 2020 – 47-year-old Osman Mubarak probably thought that he had gained the upper hand. After allegedly punching an unnamed Repo Man in the head and then running into the man’s leg with his Nissan Altima, what could go wrong? Plenty.

On July 16th at 8am, deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Sheriff’s Department were called to a report of an assault on the 10900 block of Terra Vista Parkway.

On arrival, officers were advised that the 47-year-old suspect, Osman Mubarak, allegedly punched a repossessor and then hit him with his car. But it wasn’t over there. The Repo Man allegedly retaliated with a knock-out punch to the head rendering him unconscious.

The repossessor was reportedly repossessing a Nissan Altima when he heard a person yelling from behind. Turning to see who it was, the borrower and suspect, identified as Mubarak, allegedly punched the repossession agent in the head.

According to the report, Mubarak then jumped into the Nissan and drove it forward attempting to detach it from the tow truck. Facing a brick wall and unable to drive any further, Mubarak then allegedly put the vehicle in reverse and hit the repossessor in the leg.

Still unable to get away, Mubarak reportedly then ran from the Nissan and into the cab of the tow truck in an attempt to flee in it. The unnamed Repo Man then reportedly reached in and took the keys out of the tow truck’s ignition and pulled Mubarak out. In the tussle that ensued, the Repo Man punched Mubarak in the face and rendered him unconscious.

On arrival, deputies found Mubarak had regained consciousness and sitting in the Nissan. Mubarak was arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon. He was booked at West the Valley Detention Center where he is held in custody on $75,000 bail.
