Today, EZ Key Programming, an auto key & fob programming company announced the initial launch of the 1st cloud-based auto transponder key & fob programming system.
The extremely affordable “Smart Link” hardware, combined with the EZ Key Programming App allows vehicles to be programmed remotely over the cloud using a smartphone or tablet.
The new system eliminates the need to purchase expensive programming machinery, equipement, costly tokens, and requires no technical skills or prior training. In addition, it allows the end-client total transparency to track exactly when the key was programmed.
“We are extremely excited to bring this new cloud-based programming system to market because of its ability to substantially reduce the time, expense, and expertise that was formerly required to program most vehicles. After two years of development, the system saw a limited release beta test just a few months ago. The responses from the client testing was pure excitement when they realized the software’s tracking capabilities, and were able to see first-hand how easy it is to use,” said Terry Tonsing, the Chief Operations Officer and Co-Founder of EZ Key Programming.
After the one-time registration and the free EZ Key Programming App is downloaded to any smartphone or tablet, it’s as simple as plugging in the EZ Key Smart Link into the OBD port, and then following the live EZ Key Representative’s prompts.
“During the initial launch phase, the availability of the Smart Link system will be limited to current clients. It will be open to everyone in the industry soon thereafter.
