The Funeral is scheduled for Wednesday June 19th
Columbia, SC – June 17, 2024 – Yesterday we reported that the family of 46-year-old murdered Repossessor Steven Hughes needed help. Well, the fundraiser was set up by a person not approved by the family. We have received the correct funeral details and who has been working with them to set up this funeral including the funeral tow truck procession on Wednesday the 19th.

My apologies for the donation site having been shut down. I’ve seen this happen before in 2022 when an agent was crushed under a vehicle and the victims family went to war with his girlfriend over a GoFundMe established to help her and her kids. In this case, the family had requested the person who set up the page to cease collecting donations.
As it turns out, Ed Marcum of the Recovery Agents Benefit Fund (RABF) had been in touch with the Hughes family and his employer since last week and has been instrumental in helping the family set up these arrangements in such a short period of time.

If you specify that the donations are for Steve Hughes, then 100% of those donations will go to the family in addition to what the fund will provide for funeral services. This is tax deductible and they get 100% of funds donated.
