Pembroke Pines, FL – 9 November 2021 – A repossessor ran into some trouble while trying to repossess a vehicle in Pembroke Pines when the frantic driver hopped behind the wheel.
Police report that the Mercedes Benz was already hooked up to the tow truck when someone jumped in the driver’s seat of the pricy SUV in an attempt to flee the repossession attempt.
Once inside, that’s when that person hit the gas until the Mercedes was released from the hitch.
Released from the clutches of the tow lift, the frantic driver struck property on the lot while trying to get away, eventually backing up into the tow truck, police said.
The car then became disabled and eventually was towed from the scene.
