Past Allied Finance Adjusters President Barbara Scheele Passes Away

It’s with my deepest sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of one of Allied’s family members.

Barbara Scheele passed peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, January 27^th.

Barb’s company, Sun West Recovery, Inc. in Punta Gorda, Florida flourished under her leadership. She was a true inspiration to her employees; it was apparent she considered them her family.

She looked after them as if they were her own. I had the privilege of chatting with Barb many times about situations within her company as well as industry problems. Her insight and knowledge showed through every time, proving she was a truly dedicated leader.

Barb held many positions within Allied and most recently she held the office of Past President. Barbs’ dedication to the industry made her a pioneer in numerous ways. Her enthusiasm and dedication was demonstrated in everything she did. Beloved AFA and Repo Industry Leader Passes

Barb’s bigger-than-life personality and infectious smile along with the constant glow of radiance and professionalism that surrounded her made her a true legend within the repossession industry. Barb could take the worst of days and find something positive about it. She had the unique ability to talk to anyone and help them through any situation with her knowledge, wisdom, dignity, and kind heart.

Barb has touched many lives, and her passing will be difficult for most of us. Her unexpected passing will leave a large gap in a lot of lives, but her legacy will live on in the hearts of everyone she touched.

Allied Finance Adjusters is so proud to have been associated with her! We waited over the weekend to make a public statement about her passing out of respect for her family, and to verify the information we were given about her passing. We simply would not risk making such a shocking announcement without affording it the dignity that exemplified Barb’s every action. Allied plans to make a donation to the RABF in Barb’s honor.
