From the Repo Truck to the Boardroom: Jeffrey Pickens Joins Premier Adjusters

New Senior Manager combines firsthand recovery experience with leadership expertise from Capital One, Citi, and other major industry organizations.

Premier Adjusters, Inc. has announced the addition of industry veteran Jeffrey Pickens as Senior Manager. Bringing nearly 30 years of experience across auto finance, collections, lender operations, and repossession, Pickens offers a unique perspective shaped by both frontline recovery work and leadership roles with major financial institutions. His arrival further strengthens Premier Adjusters’ commitment to operational excellence, client service, and strategic growth.

Many of you may already know Jeff from his 7+ years with Capital One Auto Finance, where he most recently served as a Repo Operations Unit Manager. Throughout his career, Jeff has earned a reputation as a respected leader who understands both the lender and recovery sides of our industry and the importance of building strong, collaborative partnerships.

Jeff brings nearly three decades of experience in auto finance, collections, and recovery management, including leadership positions with Capital One, Citi, LoanMe, and Sundance Investigations & Recovery. What makes Jeff’s background particularly unique is that he has experienced our industry from the ground up. During his time with Sundance, he worked as a recovery agent operating a repossession truck in the field, giving him firsthand knowledge of the challenges and realities faced by recovery professionals every day. His unique blend of field, creditor, and management experience makes him an exceptional addition to our leadership team.

Jeff will be based out of our Dallas/Fort Worth office in Grand Prairie, Texas, where he will support operational excellence, client engagement, compliance initiatives, and continued growth across our Texas markets. His experience working directly with lenders and recovery service providers will help us further strengthen the service, communication, and accountability we provide to our clients.
