Hollywood, MD – June 23-2025 – The roar of a shotgun ruptured the peace and quiet of a Sunday morning over the weekend. When it was all over, a Repossessor’s tow truck was damaged and a previously convicted felon was back in custody.

It was just about 5:20 am on Sunday morning when officers of the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office got the call. Receiving the report of an assault, they sped to the scene at the 25000 block of Gallant Fox Drive in Hollywood.

Upon arrival, they met with an unnamed repossession agent who reported that he had just attempted to repossess a vehicle when the male subject emerged from the residence allegedly armed with a shotgun. Reportedly firing a shot at the agent’s truck, he then turned the weapon on the agent threatening to shoot him.

Wisely, the Repossessor fled the scene and called 911.
