NY Repo Agency Owner Dies in Car Accident

It is with a heavy heart and deepest condolences that we announce the unexpected passing of one of RSIG’s New York members, Brett Relyea of Rapid Recovery Repo LLC in Candor, NY.

Brett was involved in an auto accident on Tuesday, April 23^rd that took his life, the life of his fiancée and another passenger in the vehicle. NY Repo Agency Owner Dies in Car Accident

Brett had been a member of RSIG since 2018 and was an American Lenders Franchisee prior to selling that business and eventually re-opening under Rapid Recovery Repo LLC.

In hearing of his passing, we just learned he was somewhat of a legend with the demolition derby community.

Brett leaves behind family who loved him and will miss him deeply, including 3 young adult children who grew up in the family business.

Like so many others, Brett lived with a feeling of believing there would be more time and opportunity to plan for the future, but that was cut short. As a result, the family is struggling with what the next steps will be, including planning for his final arrangements.
