Last week, Scott Jackson penned a rebuttal to the Alliance of Illinois Repossessors editorial “Attention Lenders – Contingency Doesn’t Work” and followed up with a very interesting interview on Repo America with J. Patrick Altes. At the core of Scott’s concerns for the future of the repossession industry were the potential of lenders abandoning the self-help recovery process for the legal route of replevin.
