The mysterious anti-repossession forwarding group, Anonymous has created a humorous but fact filled video explaining the current state of the repossession industry. Albeit in the form of an animated narrator, the purposely formatted “Fairy Tale” entitled “Welcome to a Grim Fairytale About our Total Annihilation“ does a good job of explaining the history of repossession forwarding, it’s effects on the industry, …
I watched, I listened, and I applauded.
Congratulations on a job well done. This video was desperately needed to bring awareness to this industry problem, And, it should be viewed by everyone involved in the industry. Unfortunately, individual letters won’t do it. It will take a team effort to move this matter forward. IMHO, the CORP is the only organization in a position to take the advise of the wise repo man, and pick up the ball and run with it.
Kudos to the brave repo man! I wish everyone had a backbone like that. The video gave me some new ideas and a slight degree of hope for our industry. Let’s face it, the gum-shoeing, loyal, hard working honest professional recovery agent is dying. He has been replace with an agent that watches Rachel Ray and Oprah until his LPR car gets a hit, then he runs in the two truck in hopes of the vehicle still being there at Walmart. I think we all know he’s a cherry picker, and he is not out hitting the pavement and skip tracing, because he can not afford to do it the right way anymore, which we all know is more productive.
Banks are cutting off their own nose to spite their face, so filled with greed they can’t see tomorrow. The richest of recovery agencies are expanding, pushing out the smaller companies and joining forces with the forwarders to “take it all”. I’m pretty sick of having compliance shoved down my throat when I’m already vetted by the associations and about as compliant as I can get without spending a bunch of money to prove it. All the while, watching a competitor with a rap sheet nine pages long, been shot in the head twice, uses a stun gun on debtor’s and even banned by a judge from repossession activity in certain counties in my area due to his unlawful actions. But if this is what the big lenders want, let them wallow in it. It’s a house of cards. But I’m not going down without a fight and it just might get messy!
who ever did ths program is very smart honest person.. I hope the CFPB is looking at it
