The RABF Gives Big Thanks!

The Recovery Agents Benefit Fund is happy to announce Justin Lowery of Phase 1 Recovery in North Carolina as the winner of the 2024 raffle for the Dynamic Slide In Unit drawn at this year’s American Towman Exposition in Baltimore.  Our thanks to everyone who purchased tickets for the raffle!

This year the RABF has much to be thankful for:

We’d like to thank Anthony Gentile for his continued support and, Dan Dubel, new General Manager of Dynamic, and Frank Busicchia, CEO of Commercial Specialty Truck Holdings LLC for their new support of the Recovery Agents Benefit Fund through the donation of the Dynamic Slide In Unit; and we extend extra thanks to Anthony Gentile for sharing his relationships at NASCAR tracks with the industry through his donation of race tickets, garage tours and more for auction items at various industry events!

We’d like to thank Dave Baker and American Recovery Service/PK Willis for their long term commitment as the first industry client to regularly support the RABF through not only annual donations and sponsorships, but continued monthly donations as well.

We’d like to thank auto finance lenders Credit Acceptance Corporation for their on going annual support for the RABF through employee fundraising efforts ($5363) along with Bryan Russell of GM Financial ($10,000 pledged) and new donor CapitalOne Auto Finance ($5000) for their corporate donations.

We’d like to thank DRN, RDN and ClearPlan, whose donations of camera systems and service subscription packages have allowed attendees at events like NARS and the Tennessee Association of Accredited Repossessors state association meeting to raise $38,900 and $22,720 respectively this year for the benefit of the RABF. Although the RABF does not know of all the companies or individuals or their specific offering who donated items to these groups for their silent auctions, we do express our heartfelt thanks for everyone’s support.

We’d like to thank the members and attendees of the Georgia Association of Professional Repossessors for their contributions resulting in $5600 donated to RABF at their state association meeting this September. The RABF Gives Big Thanks!

We’d like to thank the attendees of the REPO2024 meeting hosted by Recovery Specialist Insurance Group and Allied Finance Adjusters Conference Inc this June in Ft. Worth, TX for their efforts in raising $49.295 to benefit the Recovery Agents Benefit Fund through a live auction and $500 Club participation!

We’d like to thank employees and the owners of Stealth Towing and Recovery in Texas (Shannon and Amy Smithers) whose company donations along with the per pay check donations ranging from $5 to $50 from participating employees have totaled over $10,000 in 2024.

We’d like to thank MBSi Corporation for their fundraising event for attendees of Used Car Week meeting in Arizona that raised $4,655 for the RABF.

We also express our gratitude for these individuals and companies who have set up monthly donations to the RABF:

  • Brennan Hamilton, Rapid Recovery Agency
  • Kaila Stanley, Final Notice Recovery
  • Lighthouse Insurance Services
  • Chris Terreault, Assets Biz Corporation
  • Marci Baker, AOC Adjusters Fresno
  • Keith Burger, Recovery Zone

2024 is the 2nd highest disbursement year on record for the Recovery Agents Benefit Fund with 11 disbursements made totaling over $83,800 since our first disbursement was made in December 2002. To date, the RABF has disbursed over three quarters of a million dollars ($790,756) to repossession industry families in need. We would not have been able to do this without all of these individuals and company’s commitment to support and assist the RABF.
