Sacramento, CA – December 4, 2023 – When a pair of repossession agents went to the 3400 block of Astoria Street last night, they had no idea that their repo attempt to lead to them getting shot at and a seven-hour police standoff.
Two unnamed repo men are reported to have taken fire early yesterday morning at about 3:30am. Responding police found the men uninjured and took the first person into custody.
Officers found reason to believe that a second armed suspect was still inside the house and turned things up a notch. SWAT, a Crisis Negotiation Team and a police drone were deployed.
After a short time, that person surrendered. But again, police were advised that yet another armed suspect was inside the house. By 10:40am, police were successful in getting a third and final suspect to surrender.
A search of the property and the home resulted in the locating of a gun.
According to police, of all detained, 58-year-old Robert Anderson and 60-year-old William Anderson, both of Sacramento, have been booked with charges of assault with a deadly weapon.
