Albany, NY – 31 December 2018 – Governor Andrew Cuomo has signed into law a bill anticipated to help car owners, small businesses and counties when vehicles are repossessed. Drivers will now have 10 days rather than 24 hours to return license plates to the Department of Motor Vehicles when their car is repossessed.
