Man Charged for Forcing Repo Man off the Road

Watertown, NY – September 11, 2012 – On Monday, New York State Police arrested a Lorraine man who allegedly forced a repo man off the highway during the repossession of a vehicle.

Todd J. Shoen, 46, is facing charges of reckless driving and harassment over an incident that occurred on July 31st when he confronted Timothy Boshane, 34, an assistant manager with Timebuyer Inc of Watertown during an attempted repossession.

Allegedly, Mr. Boshane was driving away with the repossessed vehicle when Mr. Shoen forced him to a stop. During the encounter, Shoen allegedly tugged on Mr. Boshane’s shirt, according to police.

Boshane attempted to drive away, but was reportedly followed by Shoen who drove alongside the repossessed vehicle and forced Boshane to veer into approaching oncoming traffic, police alleged.

The repossessed vehicle did not belong to Shoen, according to Mr. Boshane.

Shoen will appear in Watertown Town Court to face the charge.
