Judge Orders Pistol Packin’ Borrower to Write an Apology Letter to Repo Agents
Killeen, TX – December 3, 2023 – Sharell Lashone Walker had already pleaded guilty to a second-degree felony charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon for threatening repossession agents with a gun back in 2022. She had already served 90 days in jail, but a Judge decided to grant her four years of probation with the condition that she must write a letter of apology to the repo agents.
Back on September 12, 2022, an unnamed repossession agent was in the process of repossessing a vehicle on the 400 block of West Green Avenue in Killeen when a second vehicle arrived and blocked him in.
Emerging from the passenger seat was an unknown woman, pistol in hand. Pulling back on the slide and chambering a round, she raised the gun barrel to the agents face and demanding he cease the repossession.
Wisely retreating, the recovery agent called police to report the incident. Arriving officers were advised that the entire sequence of events had been recorded with his cameras. After retrieving the video, police developed leads on the alleged assailant’s identity.
Walker was interviewed by police and admitted to confronting the men but denied having a firearm. Unfortunate for her, according to the affidavit. “The female can be seen wearing the exact same outfit as what Walker was wearing when officers spoke with (her) after the assault.
In December of 2022, armed with an arrest warrant, members of the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force of the U-S Marshal Service located then 29-year-old Sharell Lashone Walker and took her into custody. She was indicted on February 8, 2023.
Sharell Lashone Walker, now 30, had already pleaded guilty to a second-degree felony charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on October 6th. On Friday the 1st of December, the 264th Judicial District Court, Judge Paul LePak decided to place Walker on a period of four years of deferred adjudication probation.
As a condition of her probation, Walker was ordered to spend 90 days in the Bell County Jail, which she had already served. In addition, Judge LePak ordered Walker to write a letter of apology to the agents, according to Bell County court records.
