Wichita Falls, TX – July 1, 2021 – According to Wichita Falls Police, last Thursday morning, a Dispatcher received a call from a woman asking if she were allowed to shoot someone who was trying to repossess her car.
The caller, apparently aware that it was a repossession, told the dispatcher that an unmarked tow truck was at her residence attempting to take her Camaro.
According to the report, at the same time, Dispatch received a call from a field adjuster reporting that a woman was threatening them with a gun and had sicked her dogs on them and were being chased.
Arriving officers barred two unnamed people (field adjusters) from the address and that the Camaro was left at the scene pending an ongoing legal litigation.
A WFPD investigator has been assigned to the case.
