This year is going to be another year of turbulence in our industry and in our nation. We might as well get used to the fact that COVID is here forever. I do believe the disruptions caused by it will lessen, but it is here to stay. Masking in certain situations is here to stay, and we are seeing what fragmentation over COVID has done to our education system and our society. Of course, our industry wrote the book on fragmentation — we have seen the lack of progress in our industry that we now see in the political arena in Washington, D.C. We are going to see the gaps in American society widen and the gaps in our industry widen.
I know many of you are tired of Kennedy singing the same tune, but let’s pay attention to the success agencies in Florida are having because they eliminated fragmentation and realized the truth that working unified is the only way to get results. So, I am once again reaching out to other leaders to stop the 50 years of negativity embrace the concepts of collaboration and unification and join together to CHANGE OUR WORLD.
Look for some exciting news to come before March – news that (I HOPE) will change our industry. ARA believes in the strength and resilience of US.
Some immediate good news is that NARS is early this year and in a new city – Denver, Colorado! Be sure to register early. Prices will increase after this month.
The voice Repo Alliance has given us on the hill has calmed the fires and has now opened the door for our industry to go from a defense posture to an offensive position. We all know it’s the offense that puts the points and the big W on the board. Business has still been slow for many of us but dig deep and support US / YOU through the efforts of the Alliance.
Last but not least, state associations are needed in all 50 states but leadership is needed either step up or be stepped on. Contact home office and we will put you in touch with all the right people.
As always, it has been an honor and a privilege to be your President. Stay Safe and God Bless the collateral recovery industry.   Â
