Here’s to NARS 2021!

NARS 2021 was the event of the year. We have to give thanks to all our speakers, vendors, and attendees that came out to celebrate our success as we continue to overcome every obstacle. We are a resilient industry, with resilient professionals and leaders. Let us take a moment to look back at this industry-defining conference.

The 12th annual gathering was back in person, and we had an attendance of more than 400 participants, including recovery and remarketing professionals and lenders, exhibitors, and sponsors. In addition, fundraising efforts contributed a total of 66,600 to the Repo Alliance and $14,500 to the Recovery Agents Benefit Fund (RABF). Thanks to our 2021 NARS Auction Sponsor SCAR, our Closing Party Sponsor Camping Co. and everyone who donated items.

The annual NARS Golf Tournament kicked off the event at the state-of-the-art Bear Creek Golf Club! Other networking opportunities available at NARS 2021 were the Harding Brooks Insurance sponsored Cocktail Party and Camping Co. sponsored Closing Party.

Through our lineup of prestigious speakers, NARS 2021 equipped attendees with the practical knowledge and inspiration that unified the industry and motivated all of us to rise above. Jeremy Cross and Andy Sinclair inspired the crowd to practice financial sustainability with investments in technology. Richard Grosvenor shared his story on the importance of practicing risk management and how to proactively protect your team and business. Les McCook and Dave Kennedy encouraged attendees to exercise solidarity in order to excel in today’s climate.

Throughout the event, our panel discussions had candid conversations around very real and difficult topics that sweep our industry and insights on training, development, finances, and more. The NARS 2021 Keynote speaker, and motivational speaker Dr. Michelle Rozen, brought compelling insight with her philosophy on how to lead change with confidence to gain both professional and personal success.

NARS 2021 also took the opportunity to recognize and honor exemplary industry professionals with the 2nd annual NARS Industry Awards. The honorees included Agent of the Year Dominic Clegg, Service Representative of the Year Danny Mullen, Humanitarian of the Year Bryanna Cox, Agency Owner of the Year Emily Hemmings, and our newest award, the Leadership Award winner Stephanie Findley. Additionally, the prestigious Art Christensen Award was given to Dave Kennedy for his outstanding contributions and service to the recovery industry.
