“Right is right, wrong is wrong, and there ain’t no in between”
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The members of EAGLE GROUP XX/USA voice their support to the demands of Eagle Group members who are also members of AIR, GALR, and TexasARP as well as the other industry members desiring to be paid by Primeritus on their outstanding invoices.
Primeritus has given excuse after excuse why they are not paying per their contractual obligations, reason after reason why they are refusing to pay full invoices and, in many cases, even denying payment for some alleged micro-technical violation.
Eagle Group XX/USA is not a “Trade Organization” but rather a group of 70 plus men and women in the recovery industry dedicated to education, compliance, and above all else helping each other successfully run their business. A large part of that success depends on timely payment for services rendered. Our members do the work, pay their bills which include vehicle payments, maintenance expenses, insurance, property, salaries, and many other costs that arise and in turn expect to be paid for their efforts.
The members of Eagle Group XX have their annual “Gathering of the Eagles” conference next month and one of the topics on the agenda is “Primeritus, How Do We Properly and Legally Respond to Non-Payment from Lenders and Forwarders”.
Our 20 Group will be discussing the dismissive treatment that our XX and USA members and in fact all members of the recovery industry have been receiving from Forwarders and some Lenders which may include but not be limited to charging the lender for recovery but never paying the recovery agency, charging the lender for things the recovery agency was not allowed to bill, inflating recovery bills to the lender, and many other things which are ultimately billed back to the consumer, things that the CFPB would consider UDAAP violations.
RIGHT IS RIGHT, WRONG IS WRONG, and as members of Eagle Group XX/USA believe, THERE AIN’T NO IN BETWEEN.
If we provide a honest day’s work we expect to be paid an honest day’s wage and we expect to be paid in a timely manner.
We put all non-payers and slow payers on notice, “You better know where the Eagles talons are before you pull it’s tail feathers” and as one of my instructors at Military School once told me, “A hint to the wise is sufficient”.
