Arrest made in Gus Macedo murder

In a city whose murder rate resembles a war zone, the Chicago Police managed to connect the January 30, 2022 murder of AssetsBiz Corp. camera car driver Gustavo Macedo to a suspect.

The suspect is identified as 58-year-old Bobbie Scott of the 1400 block of W. 79th St.

Chicago Illinois. Scott was brought up on the charge of murdering 35-year-old Gustavo Macedo on the 4500 block of W. Grenshaw in Lawndale on Chicago’s west side on January 20, 2022.

Chicago Police arrested Scott on March 1, 2022, in the 6200 Block of S. State street after a lengthy investigation into the brutal murder that shook the community. The suspect, Scott, has been in custody since last week, but was officially charged with connection to the crime on Friday the 4th.

Bobbie was charged with one Felony count of murder in the first degree and one felony count PCS Possession.
