Membership has its Benefits – Allied Finance Adjusters

Someone from a different trade association recently asked on Facebook, “What does Allied do for its Members?”  That person knows full-well that Allied has a strict policy against “taking the bait” on a public forum when the intention behind the question is to defame or denigrate Allied and its Members and Associates.

But the answer to the question (when asked legitimately) has a ready answer that is based upon the long history of Allied and our never-ending pursuit of excellence in representing our Members in a professional and uplifting way. Even though the individual asked that question hoping to engage in mudslinging on social media (and in the process violated the Ethics Rules of the trade association to which she belongs), we believe that the industry and the public do deserve an answer to question (when asked for purposes of seeking information or knowledge).

Clients know that quality training, client protection insurance, vetting of our Members, and many other Member benefits set Allied Members apart from the rest.  Our relationships with RSIG and The Eagle Group provide for proven, effective, highly prized certifications that open lender’s doors.   We are run by our Member-volunteers, everyone has a vote and a say in the direction we go. If these things are important to you then you may want to consider joining Allied.

Some of the advantages enjoyed by Allied Members are:

  • Every new member goes through an important screening process – “Professionals only hire Professionals”.
  • Each Member is covered by $1,000,000.00 in client protection insurance by The Hanover Group, based upon their good standing in Allied.
  • Allied owns and producers the Professional Repossessor Magazine, which a great way to communicate with the industry, as a whole, and with clients and prospective clients.
  • Allied retains a full-time attorney for questions and answers, training and contract review.
  • Allied holds two annual conferences for training/certification of Members and their employees.
  • Allied produces a monthly newsletter to keep its Members informed of important information and happenings in the industry, as well as keeping Members up-to-date on their Allied family.
  • Allied supports representation at financial institution trade shows and meetings and provides Members who desire to attend such events with proper equipment and professional tools.
  • Training and continuing education is available at no extra cost to Members and their employees through Allied’s exclusive partnership with The Eagle Group.
  • Compliance policies and procedures, as well as contract and other templates are available to Members through our Member’s-only portal on the Allied website.
  • Members interact with peers in the industry to discuss business, what works and what doesn’t, and share information to make their offices as efficient and effective as possible.
  • Members can see the latest technologies and devices available to recovery agents and ask questions or get information directly from the exhibitors at either of the two annual meetings.
  • Members help shape the future of Allied Finance Adjusters by attending the membership and board meetings.
  • Members can partake in festive fellowship with peers who treat each other like family.

As Allied has been advertising, the 2022 Mid-Year Meeting will be in November in Las Vegas. Both Members and Non-members are invited to attend and take advantage of the educational events that will be provided, share comradery with industry peers, and learn about the vision that Allied has for the year 2023 and beyond.

In today’s social and political climate, it may seem difficult for some to understand that it is in fact possible for people to disagree and still be friends!  It is in fact possible for two entities to disagree on some or all aspects of their platform, and still peaceably co-exist!

Things between the two national trade associations in the repossession industry have not always been peaceable, and the planks in the platform of each are certainly not a matching set. Whether Members disagree on major or minor topics, the true professionals in the industry still seek out common courtesy and mutual respect.  Allied Finance Adjusters invites YOU to join us!
