Supporting the Industry as a Whole – We Need Your Support!

CALR would like your input regarding our industry hiring a Federal Lobbyist in Washington DC. CALR has been speaking with the other national / state associations and groups. It has been proposed for the state associations to contribute approximately $500.00 a month and the national associations to contribute approximately $2300.00 a month. This would be a collective effort for the industry to come together once and for all.

If you could please provide your feedback before our board votes on this issue, we need your input. Our board will be voting on this issue next Monday May 4th, 2020. All of our groups will be meeting again on May 5th.

The groups consist of Allied Finance Adjusters (AFA) the American Recovery Association (ARA), the California Association of Licensed Repossessors (CALR), EAGLE XX, Harding Brooks Insurance Agency, Illinois Recovery Association (IRA), Michigan Association of Repossession Agencies (MARA), Recovery Specialist Insurance Group (RSIG), the newly forming state association of New York, and other state associations that are willing to participate.

We not only need your input, but we value everything you have to say. You may have already seen the Email from Harding Brooks and Texas Accredited Repossession Professionals (Texas ARP). Texas ARP is our sister state association. CALR mirrors their efforts, thoughts and supports their position. We are in this together.
