2020 has been a wild ride for the repossession industry. With all of the changes in shelter in place orders, moratoriums and fees, we thought it well worthy a time to throw out a net and published our May 2020 “State of the Repossession Industry Survey. The results, derived from the response of 226 readers from 49 states were indeed interesting. As mentioned at the time of it’s release, we desired to run this survey again and are seeking to gather a “verifiable” repossession agency owners pool to better qualify the results.
In our next survey, we will revisit the same topics as in the last survey; operations, forwarding, vendors, fees, LPR, Violence, COVID-19 effect on recovery, assignment volume and more. We will also try to dig in a little deeper on these topics with some better detailed follow up questions to get a more comprehensive picture of what has changed and where the industry is since May.
We are seeking to enlist ONLY repossession agency owners to participate in this next survey.
We will be using this data against the prior study results to track what changes have occurred since then and how. We will not be sharing the names or information of our participants and only general state demographic information will be contained in the results. We would genuinely appreciate the cooperation of all agency owners and are, at this time accepting registration applications for this survey, which we plan on conducting in mid-July. Please click on the link below if you meet these qualifications and would like to participate.
