Illinois Extends Repossession Moratorium Until June 27

In response to the continued health crisis created by the COVID-19 Virus, JB Pritzker, Governor of Illinois, has declared all counties in the State of Illinois as a disaster area in response to the outbreak and has extended the state’s repossession moratorium until June 27, 2020.

Executive Order 2020-16 (Repossession of vehicles; suspension of classroom training requirement for security services): Executive Order 2020-16 is continued and extended in its entirety for the duration ofthe Gubernatorial Disaster Proclamations, which currently extends through June 27, 2020
