Alleged Meth-Head Arrested for Ramming Repo Truck

Jamestown, NY – 28 August 2019 – Police arrested a belligerent and probably intoxicated man who police report as having rammed his Ford F-150 pickup into a tow truck attempting to repossess it.

30 year old Christopher E. Dellahoy of Cherry Creek was arrested by police after their responding to reports of a fight at 11:32 pm on Newton Ave.

Upon arrival, officers were advised that Dellahoy purposefully rammed his Ford pickup truck into a tow truck being used to affect repossession of his truck.

Dellahoy is reported to also been threatening the repossession agent and brandishing a baseball bat in a threatening manner before throwing it at the tow truck and fleeing into a nearby home to hide.

Police finally located him hiding in the home’s crawl space where he “became belligerent and failed to comply with officers’ commands,” Jamestown Police Department stated.

Upon apprehension, Dellahoy was transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where during processing and search, he was allegedly found in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine.

Dellahoy, already has an extensive criminal history, now faces a laundry list of charges including; third and fourth degree criminal mischief, aggravated family offense, second-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree harassment, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, improper plates, unsafe starting and operating without insurance.
