Tyler, TX – September 8, 2014 – A Repo Man and His wife were followed home to their residence by an unidentified group of people that ended in gunfire.
The Smith County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of gunshots in the 3700 block of Highway 271 in Tyler.
The caller reported that she and her husband had just repossessed a vehicle in northeast Tyler and were followed to their residence by an unidentified group of people.
The caller’s husband retrieved a firearm from inside the house after feeling threatened. He allegedly told the group of people to leave, and fired warning shots into the ground.
Officials say it does not appear anyone was injured from the shots. No arrests have been made.
