The repossession industry came together in a powerful way last week in Cleveland, Ohio, as the state associations of Ohio (OAR), Pennsylvania (PARA), and Indiana (INPRA) joined forces to host one of the most successful conferences in recent memory.

The event saw exceptional attendance, with repossession professionals, association leaders, and industry partners traveling from across the United States — including Texas, Georgia, the Carolinas, and Michigan.
One of the most notable attendees was Dr. Sachin Devi, CEO of The Perfect Virtual Team, who traveled nearly 7,500 miles from India to take part in the conference. His presence highlighted the international importance and reach of the repossession industry.
Informative and Engaging Presentations
Attendees enjoyed a full schedule of valuable sessions and presentations:
- Mike Pletz (IRS) – Delivered insights on transports, keys, and repossession practices.
- Royal Key Supply – Presented an informative session on the latest in key solutions for repossessors.
- Harding Brooks– Fighting Back.
- Alex Price – Shared strategies and techniques on skip tracing.

- Mark Doumbas – Led a detailed session on wrongful repossession, a topic of critical importance.

- Victoria Terrazzino – Provided valuable knowledge in the area of financial management.
Success Beyond the Sessions
A highlight was the RABF silent auction, which raised approximately $14,000 —which concluded with Matt Freeman jumping in the pool to raise donations! We would like to recognize and sincerely thank those who contributed to the RABF fundraising efforts, including Detroit Wrecker Sales, RDN, Clearplan, Royal Key Supply and MBSI. Your generosity helped make this year’s fundraiser the most successful yet, showing the true spirit of giving back within our industry.
Recognizing Leadership and Dedication
A special shout-out goes to Amy Bednar, whose relentless dedication and hard work were instrumental in making this conference a resounding success. Her leadership and commitment did not go unnoticed.
A Conference to Remember
In every respect, the joint state association conference was a huge success — combining education, networking, and camaraderie in a way that strengthened the repossession industry community. With momentum from this year’s event, the future of collaborative industry gatherings looks stronger than ever.
