Credit Unions Recognize Need for Collection Call Quality CU Recovery Training Available to Geographical Areas

cu_recovery_logoFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Wyoming, MN – May 28, 2014 – With recent loan growth, many credit unions are remembering when their collection department was overwhelmed with workloads, lack of space, and possibly a lack of specialized talent. Although most have a process and tools to manage effective collection departments, an increasing number are recognizing that the implementation or ‘making it all work together’ step is a weak link in their department efficiency. During this period of relative calm, many are choosing to think ahead, anticipating increased demands on their departments, by looking for training that will create an immediate impact on results. CU Recovery has stepped into that gap by introducing a collection training platform that brings critical ‘how to’ information and solutions to the credit union’s local area.

Classes are scheduled in geographically centralized areas throughout the country and are often hosted through the cooperation of larger credit unions in the area. This training platform allows collectors to learn new skills in an environment outside of their day-to-day operation. Focused on collection call quality, the sessions allow credit unions to take advantage of CU Recovery/The Loan Service Center expertise and world class service philosophy, while removing inconsistency from their member collection contact.

“The new training program is a result of compiling many years of collection best practices from The Loan Service Center and making them available to credit unions for immediate improvement in their results”, said Wendy Elieff, Vice President of Sales and Service for CU Recovery. “I am pleased that credit union collectors are reporting that they acquired skills that were put to use with good success”, Wendy continued.

Credit unions are sensitive to the member connection that differentiates them from other financial institutions. Representing over 23 years of collection experience, CU Recovery/The Loan Service Center training brings collection solutions and member contact expertise to geographical areas that may not have had access to in-depth collection training.
