We have received several concerns regarding the New Primeritus contract regarding many of the provisions contained within. I have put together a survey outlining some of the components of the contract that have created much concern. Many in the industry are feeling that enough is enough.
Ok I would think as far as the being able to audit a company’s employee profile that would be against employment laws. Even if someone calls for a reference we can’t give any specific detail about them much less let them see there personal info. So even if you sign giving permission your employee did not. Will that stop them from sending you work? By law can they put that in a contract? If you can’t tell a new employer why someone is no longer employed with you I doubt you can turn over a current employee’s private info. Lets face it there are no laws stating that you must have a high school diploma in this business and some that do wouldn’t be caught doing this job. There are limited people who can do this job. But if you show them an employee didn’t graduate high school will they stop sending you work? Just seems all the demanding to see everyone’s personal business is a little on the side of discrimnation. I don’t mind if you come watch how my office works or want to see how I protect debtor’s information, but access to my bank statements which hold my account numbers or any of my employee’s personal info is not ok. Who’s to say you’ll take care of this info. Sorry for such a long post, but I believe these questions are worth asking.
