To The ARA Membership and State Associations:
I am writing to inform all of you that I recently met with executives from Santander to discuss the change in flatbed fees and their relationship in the repossession pricing. Our conversation lasted about 1 hour and covered many topics related to this process and was a positive one from beginning to end.
Although no immediate changes were agreed upon I can say wholeheartedly that this was an excellent step for future communications and Santander’s willingness to begin regular communications directly with the agent network as well as the forwarders.
Establishing a dialogue about industry issues with a large institution like Santander is a big win for the ARA.
I look forward to the opportunity to share more information in the future and our continued conversations with the Santander team!
