Meeting Details & Next Steps
ARA Members,
As part of our ongoing member advocacy efforts to ensure you and your business are supported and protected to the maximum extent possible, ARA board members met yesterday with the leadership at Loss Prevention Services (LPS) to review the new contract LPS is going to be putting out.
The meeting went very well with positive progress. We discussed a number of items that needed to change and reached tentative agreement on both sides. Both ARA and LPS came away with items to review/work on and will get back together soon to finalize changes. A next steps meeting is scheduled in two weeks.
ARA collaborated ahead of the meeting with several state association representatives to gather input and questions for the get-together — we are grateful for their contributions and appreciate their time.
As with PAR recently, we appreciate LPS’s willingness to sit down with us and discuss critical issues with an open mind and be receptive to changes that will benefit all of us.
ARA will continue to secure meetings with other service companies to advocate for changes that will benefit our members and the entire recovery industry.
Vaughn Clemmons
ARA President
