FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
DALLAS, TX (April 21, 2024) – American Recovery Association (ARA), the world’s largest association of recovery and remarketing professionals, today announced its partnership with Recovery Database Network (RDN), the provider of the repossession industry’s premier, most reliable and most trusted repossession software. These two industry leaders have joined forces to address the most important software issues affecting the more than 1,500 agents and vendors who rely on RDN’s systems. Facilitating these efforts, RDN Vice President John Sibbitt has accepted a seat on ARA’s Technology Committee to more effectively coordinate their combined undertakings.
The mission for ARA was to reach out to the membership and state organizations to identify the most critical issues affecting the greatest number of users, pare down the list to the top ten, prioritize them, and present them to RDN to address.
According to Committee Chair Todd Case, “I’m excited to share that our relationship has already proven its worth, particularly with John’s aligned interest in increasing safety in the industry. Working closely with John and his team, we plan to implement a unique process to better document violence and preserve pertinent case information by preventing the removal of this documentation during case reassignments and transfers.”
“ARA has done a great job of shaping industry and making positive changes — moving the industry forward — and we’ve always had a great relationship with its members,” said John Sibbitt. “So, we solicited ARA’s help to address software features that can be improved for the benefit of ARA’s members and the entire industry.”
ARA President Vaughn Clemmons said, “We challenged RDN to start/fix/release these top 10 software issues most important to our members. We’re actively working together to add or change features that are best for the industry.”
RDN is working these tickets and scheduling release dates. This top ten list is only the beginning. The partners aim to continue these efforts to identify and resolve issues that affect the entire industry.
