Talladega, AL – 11 July 2018 – Talladega police are investigating a report of shots fired through the window of a tow truck in the process of a repossession early Monday morning.
Talladega Police Capt. John McCoy, reported that the Reposession Agent was attempting to recover a vehicle at the 110 block of Naff Avenue at approximately 1am when the agent claimed to hear a pop.
Immediately, the rear window of the 2016 Dodge Ram tow truck shattered.
The delinquent borrower and several other people were reportedly in the vicinity at the time of the repossession attempt but had fled by the time police had arrived on the scene, according to Capt. McCoy.
The Repo Agent was shaken but uninjured.
Talladega police are investigating the shooting and accepting leads from the public.
