GCTE Terminates Partnership with Manheim/Ready Logistics Amid Allegations of Unethical Practices

“…these ongoing issues left us with no choice but to end the collaboration and protect our integrity.”

August 1, 2025 — Collegeville PA – Giannone Companies Towing Enforcement, a reputable underdog in vehicle repossession and transportation services in the Philadelphia market, has announced the termination of its over ten-year collaboration with Manheim Auctions, Inc. and Ready Logistics. The move comes amidst serious allegations of illegal and unethical practices by the auction and logistics companies that have impacted Giannone’s reputation and business operations.

For more than a decade, Giannone has worked closely with Manheim and Ready Logistics, providing transportation services for repossessed vehicles on behalf of various lenders not just from their own facilities but competitors as well. Known for its professionalism, competitive rates, and Family based way of service, Giannone built a trusted relationship that served as a backbone for its growth.

However, recent developments reveal that Giannone has been subjected to false disparagement, wrongful interference, and attempts to sabotage its business.

According to a detailed legal notice issued by Giannone’s counsel, certain individuals associated with Manheim and Ready Logistics have engaged in deceptive practices, including making false statements to lenders, placing unwarranted holds on inventory, and discouraging clients from working with Giannone.

“Our commitment to ethical business practices and transparency has been compromised,” said Giannone COO Carmino M. Giannone. “The actions taken by some members of our former client have caused significant financial and reputational harm, causing lockouts from key lenders and loss of revenue. After careful consideration, we have decided to end our relationship to protect our integrity and our clients.”

Giannone alleges that the entities involved have made false claims about delivery times, rates exceeding market standards, and poor communication, claims that Giannone strongly refutes. The company emphasizes that it has consistently met or exceeded industry standards and maintained open, documented communication with all partners.

The company has also taken legal action to address the alleged misconduct, demanding corrective measures from the parties involved and warning of potential litigation if their false statements and interference do not cease.

“We will continue to prioritize our clients needs and uphold the highest standards of honesty and professionalism,” added the COO. “Our decision to part ways with Manheim and Ready Logistics reflects our dedication to integrity and the pursuit of fair, transparent business relationships.”

The misconduct by the defendants predates our public criticism over their handling of the phishing attack and is entirely unrelated,” said Giannone’s COO.  “However, these ongoing issues left us with no choice but to end the collaboration and protect our integrity.”**

Giannone’s leadership assures clients and partners that it remains committed to providing reliable transportation services and upholding its reputation as a trusted industry leader.
