SUV Flipped on its Side
Horn Lake, MS – June 9, 2025 – Bullet casing and a flipped SUV are all that remains from the aftermath of a repossession attempt at a store that left a Mississippi Repo Man shot and in critical condition.
It was around 5pm on Friday, when Horn Lake Police responded to reports of gunfire at a strip mall at 7256 Interstate Blvd. Upon arrival, they found only a flipped SUV and a litter of bullet casings, but no shooter or victim.
They soon discovered that an unidentified repossessor had been trying to repossess a car when he was shot by an unknown person. The injured Repossessor had already driven himself to Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto before being transferred to Regional One Health in Memphis due to the severity of his injuries.
His identity is still unknown and early reports indicate that his injuries were critical.
The Horn Lake Police are continuing to gather information and are working to identify the shooter. No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
