Repo Man Slapped, Punched and Strangled with a Tow Strap
Repossessor claims she stole his cell phone too
San Antonio, TX – January 26, 2024 – An unidentified Texas repo man turned his back on the wrong borrower and found himself with a tow strap wrapped around his neck.
Back on January 9th, County Deputies responded to a call from an unnamed repossessor in Far West Bexar County. The agent reported to officers that he had gone to the residence of Chantelle Dayon King to repossess her car.
According to the agent, King had first attempted to obstruct the repossession by standing in the way. Undeterred by her objections to the repossession, the agent then reported that he continued to work on towing her car.
It was then that King is reported to begin punching and slapping the agent before taking a tow strap from his tow truck and wrapping it around his neck in an attempt to strangle him.
King then allegedly got into the car attached to the tow truck and started the engine. Putting the car in gear, she made a frantic attempt to remove it from the lift by accelerating and ramming it back and forth to no avail.
The agent then asserts that during his attempt to call 911, King took his cell phone and prevented him from completing the call. Following this, King then allegedly fled into the residence and barricaded herself inside.
Soon after, King fled the scene and is on the run. She has not been seen since.
Chantelle Dayon King was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and interference with an emergency telephone call.
