Woodfield Mall, Schaumburg, Illinois
On October 6th, the repossession industry was shocked by the vicious murder of 27-year-old repossession agent and soon to be father, Jack Jacobson. Instead of celebrating the baby shower of his soon to be first child, his family was left mourning and planning his funeral. To honor his life, his former employer, Northwest Recovery and others have planned a memorial tow truck procession.
Below is the announcement of the event.
In honor and memory of Jack Jacobsen, the Patriot Guard Riders and Northwest Recovery (NWR) will be leading a tow truck processional on Saturday, November 4th @ 11am from the Woodfield Mall to Goebbert’s Pumpkin Farm (more details below).
Jack served his country in the United States Navy and loved working as a tow truck driver. He’s made a huge impact on the local industry in Illinois. There is no replacing a guy like him.
On Saturday, November 4th, we will be organizing tow trucks in the Southeast parking lot near the Sears as a rally point. At 11am, we will be driving Golf Rd westbound to Higgins Rd to Route 47 North into Goebbert’s Pumpkin Farm in Pingree Grove for the Celebration of Life.
The processional will be led by the Patriot Guard Riders on motorcycles (weather permitting) followed by tow trucks and supporting vehicles. Anyone is welcome to drive as part of the processional to honor Jack, but if you don’t want to drive, we encourage everyone to bring flags and signs to watch the processional from Golf Rd. There is a walking path along most of Golf Rd too.
Thank you for your love and support during this time ❤️
