Rookie Repo Agent Threatened with a Gun

Dover, DE – November 13, 2022 – Ask almost any experienced repossession agent, and they will all tell you; “Don’t go into the house.” Unfortunate for one 20-year-old agent in Dover, Delaware, he had to learn that the hard way.

Last week on November 11th, at around 9:15 pm, State Troopers responded to a call over a report of an aggravated menacing incident. The menacing part was the gun drawn on the unnamed 20-year-old repossession agent.

According to police, the agent had gone to the home of 31-year-old Mark Morris intent on repossessing a vehicle. For reasons unknown, the clearly inexperienced agent went into the home.

Mark Morris, 30 – 5’11’ and 360 pounds

Once inside, the agent was confronted by an angry Mark Morris, a baby faced young man of 5’11’ and 360 pounds. According to the young agent, Morris drew a gun on him and threatened to shoot him if he attempted to take his car.

Wisely, the youthful agent fled for his life and drove to the nearby Wawa where he called police.

Going back to Morris’s residence, Troopers unsuccessfully attempted to locate Morris, but found him already gone. Police report that Morris has several active warrants for his arrest, including a felony criminal warrant pertaining to this incident. Morris is described as a white male, about 5’11” tall, weighing about 360 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information about Morris’ whereabouts is asked to contact Delaware State Police Troop 3 at (302) 697-4454 or calling 911.
