GPS repo turns ugly

Odessa, TX – October 27, 2022 – GPS spotted his car. The owner of Pete’s Auto Sales went to go pick it up. Things were going great, until they weren’t and he found a pistol aimed at his chest at close range.

Wednesday afternoon at about 2:15, an Odessa Police Department officer was flagged down outside the DK convenience store on North Andrews Highway. The owner of Pete’s Auto Sales reported to him that he had just used GPS to track down a 2008 Nissan Altima loaned to a 23-year-old a borrower to Sally June Somers at the same convenience store.

According to the owner, Somers became irate when she confronted him. When he attempted to get into the car, things went from bad to worse. The unnamed man claims that Somers then pushed him out of the doorway of the car, grabbed a handgun and pointed it at his chest before driving away.

Somers then fled but didn’t get far.

GPS located her in a nearby alley where the officer apprehended her.

Somers confessed to admitted to pointing a weapon at the man, but said it was just an air pistol.

She was arrest under suspicion of aggravated assault.
