CALR has partnered with other associations in the industry to hire a lobbyist on a National/Federal level. Forming an alliance to create unity has always been a part of our mission. Your membership will help support the lobbyist so our voices are heard on the federal level; this is the first time in history for the recovery industry! In order for CALR to participate with the other associations, we have pledged to make a monthly donation to fund a lobbyist.

From the ACA May 5 th 2020

American Collectors Association (ACA) announced today our industry could be put on pause for an undisclosed period of time. If our industry hires a lobbyist in Washington, D.C., we will at least have a voice. At the moment we are the only industry without a voice. We are not represented. There isn’t a guarantee but we have to try. As many would say we have to fight the good fight and or we will go down fighting.

How to Join and the details:

Any repossession company across the nation can join for only $200.00 for the remainder of this year.

Repossession companies that are doing business in state of California must have a Repossession Agency (RA) License in good standing with the BSIS.

Repossession companies that are doing business in state of California must post their RA and CA #’s on their recovery vehicles.

In order for CALR to be part of this industry wide movement, your donations are needed to fund the lobbyist in Washington, D.C.
